ABOUT WONDER STATE SOLUTIONS
Matt Cooper
Founder, Wonder State Solutions
Matt Cooper was born in Little Rock and grew up in Conway, Arkansas. After graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy, Matt was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps as an artillery officer. Throughout the course of his 24.5 year career, Matt held command at every level up to the rank of colonel as well as various staff and support positions.
Highlights of his Marine Corps career include three deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Matt was commanding officer of the 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company and also served in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. In 2004, Matt was honored as the Marine Corps University Instructor of the Year.
After transitioning out of the Marine Corps in 2014, Matt accepted a position at the Walmart Home Office in their supply chain division. Four years later, Matt was hired away by TL Services to serve as their Lead Project Manager. Matt is married with three children. He and his family reside in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Todd West
Vice President, Sourcing Solutions
Todd brings a great deal of experience in sourcing and procurement strategy, new business development, contract negotiation, and revenue enhancement to Wonder State Solutions. A pragmatic leader, Todd's in-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles has set the industry standard and created many widely accepted best practices. Todd has a proven ability to Identify and secure cost-reduction opportunities in key procurement categories. His strong understanding of business solutions and emerging technologies allows Wonder State Solutions to lead within the sourcing process. Todd is committed to optimizing performance, processes, productivity, and the bottom line in a variety of complex, matrixed environments.
Todd's corporate experience includes senior leadership roles at AT&T and Walmart. He serves in a board advisory capacity for the Arkansas School of Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts and the Northwest Arkansas Conservatory Ballet.
Todd and his wife have been married for 28 years and reside in Fayetteville, Arkansas with their two children. Beyond business Todd enjoys serving his community and spending time outdoors in Northwest Arkansas.
